  • Viscosity up to 1,00,000 cst, temp : up to 110°C
  • Optionally available for high temperature up to 250° C

PUMP CHARACTERISTIC :

Gear pump is self priming positive displacement pump with positive pressure chart eristic. the capacity of pump is directly proportional to the speed and remain constant regardless of differential pressure the difference between theoretical and delivered capacity in the slip of the pump which depends up on the pump speed. Differential pressure viscosity of liquids working clearance & workman ship the pumps are capable of handling any viscosity the slip reduce with viscosity of the fluid share. The pump has a self priming capability however some net in let the pressure available must always equal or exceed to the pumps required NPSH to avoid cavitation depending up on the viscosity of the liquids to be pumped & pump speed.

INTERNAL POWERLOSSES :

The internal power losses in rotary in pump are made up of 2 types mechanical & viscous. The mechanical losses included all the power necessary to over the pump mechanical friction drag of all the moving parts within the pumps. PUMP SELECTION & USES :

Pump model PENX is self lubricated needle roller bearing type pump are used for clean viscous liquids having sufficient locating properly such as clean lube oil, gear oil, SAE lubricating oil for continuous duty however for inter mitten duty bush bearing type pump model PENX. Should be selected. pump model is used for liquids having low viscosity poor lubricating value or containing darts or impurities such as diary lube oil, crude oil, HSD, LDO kerosene sugar solution, varnish, wood pulp, fine powder etc for liquids which tends to solidify at room temperature such as asphalt, bitumen, castor oil etc. jacked pump model PENX should be selected to facilities the heating the pump by steam to facilities the heating the pump by steam or thermal fluid.

PUMP SPEED :

Pump model PENX are recommended to run at rated speed up to 500 cst viscosity between 500 to 1250 cst pump speed should be reduce up to 60% of rated speed for viscosity between 1250 to 2500 cst speed should be reduce up to 30% of rated speed.

INSPECTION & TESTING :
